Why do websites need to be optimised? (SEO)

Of the millions of people who use the internet daily, over 70% of them are looking goods and services to purchase. At least half of these potential customers will use some type of search engine to find what they are looking for. Because of the enormous boom in the internet, there is very heavy competition among service providers for search terms. Studies have shown that almost 90% of clicks are on sites found on the first page of search results. Only about 20% of visitors ever even make it to the second page. Obviously, if you have something to sell, the first page is where you want to be. SEO is simply the method for getting you there.

How fast are the results?

It is mostly dependent on what your product or service is and of course how competitive it is. the more competitive the search term, generally the longer it will take to get to page 1. It is impossible to give precise timelines for getting you onto page 1, however from our experience you will be looking between two weeks to six months. Will the results be stable on a long-term basis?

At the end of the day our promise is simple – if we don't keep you on page 1, we don't get paid.

Can I promote multiple search terms at the same time?

Yes! Theoretically you can promote as many search terms as you want. However, we do not generally recommend this course of action. The more search terms you require your site to be optimised for, the more diluted it can become. There are ways around this by developing more content for your site, but costs can start to spiral. Although more search terms is great for our bottom-line we always advise clients to focus on quality rather than quantity.
